Parent Memo 11/22/19

PARENT MEMO           Friday, November 22, 2019

Congratulations to the Shout-Outs for this week and last week. The 4th grade Shout-Out students are not pictured because they are on a field trip today.

Nicholas – gr 3 – While waiting to go into Art class, Nicholas left his line, opened and held the door for all of the KG students as they went from morning prayer back to their class.

Sebastian – KG – He kindly and patiently held the door open for his classmates and waited for all of them to pass through.

Finn – gr 1 – Had held the door open multiple times for all students to come into the conference suite.

Kwabena – gr 4 – Kwabena grabbed a student’s bookbag because the student was in the health room and Kwabena took the bag to their next class so the student wouldn’t have to go retrieve it.

Farrah – gr 8 – Always shares her pink body spray with the 8th grade girls each PE period, so the girls smell refreshed.

Amelia – gr 8- advises classmates when approached with negative comments to encourage a great attitude.

Gabriel – gr 4 – Went above and beyond on Thursday in the lunchroom. He made sure the lunchroom floor was all clean by sweeping the whole floor without being asked. He was a big help!

In Service,

Ms. Laura

Please seriously consider buying SCRIP gift cards to do your Holiday shopping. If you use them for your Holiday shopping, the school gets a percentage of the sale. SCRIP cards can be used for online purchases at SO MANY outlets. SCRIP are either physical gift cards OR eGift cards that you can order online and then use just like regular gift cards to shop at all of your favorite stores. Macy’s, Walmart’s, Amazon, HomeGoods, Kohl’s, Sprouts Farmers Market, Best Buy, Sam’s Club, etc. and the list goes on. There’s a store or restaurant for everyone on your shopping list. Go online and check out the huge list. Instructions are on the attachment below.

The Parish Christmas Giving Tree will be set up in the gathering space of the church on November 22 and remain until the weekend of December 14-15. This is the tree where you can take an ornament and provide something for a person or family in need. Please consider using a SCRIP card to buy what you want. It helps the family in need AND helps the school at the same time.

Please note that on Tuesdays, BEGINNING IN 2020, we will no longer be serving from Rise restaurant. It will be replaced by Moe’s.
