Parent Memo 3/23/18
A big THANK YOU to all the parents who participated in or sent in items for our St. Patrick’s Day parade and celebration. As you can see by the photos on our school Facebook, we had a blast and made quite a bit of noise during our parade. We are also thankful for the participation of the Fayetteville Police Department and Fire Department and the color guard from Terry Sanford High School. Their presence really made it a special event for the kids.
PARDON OUR DUST
The old playground has been demolished and the new one is being installed as we speak. It will be finished and ready to play on by the time the kids return from Spring Break.
LIVING STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Our 7th and 8th grade classes will be presenting the Living Stations of the Cross for the school on Thursday, March 29th at 10:00 am in the church. Feel free to come join us for this moving presentation and prayer.
REGISTRATION FOR THE 2018/2019 SCHOOL YEAR
We are waiting to hear from several families about their plans for next year. If you are returning, we need to know whether to save space in the classes for your children. If you are not returning, please let us know that as well. We are giving tours to new families every day.
FIELD DAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The PE department is looking for parent volunteers to help with the upcoming field day on April 24th. The rain date will be May 29th. We will need volunteers at the school by 7:45 a.m. the morning of the event. This year’s Field Day theme will be “Wild, Wild West.” Please call into the school at 910-323-1865 or email [email protected] if you are able to volunteer.
PTO SPRING “SHAG HOP” and “SUMMER TO REMEMBER AUCTION”
The PTO Spring Shag Hop and Summer to Remember Auction is right around the corner on the evening of April 20th. This is a fun, family-friendly event to close out the school year and support St. Patrick School.
The “Summer to Remember Auction” will focus on exciting and fun summer activities, camps, experiences, trips, sports opportunities, tickets, vouchers, classes and more! If you or your place of business can provide something to include in the auction, please contact Taylor Hagemen at [email protected] and 803-673-9314, Recognition and advertising opportunities will be available to all contributors.
We need your help to make this a rock n’ rolling success! This is the perfect time to complete your required volunteer hours or just get involved with our great school community! Please contact Amy White at [email protected] or 910-485-6784 to sign up to volunteer or if you have any questions. Thank you in advance for your generous contribution of time.
